Real help from the person who built it.
Tell us what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot helps a lot. We usually answer within a day.
Getting started
Put RidgeMate on your Home Screen. On iPhone or iPad, open RidgeMate in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app. From then on, open it from that icon.
Start a company. Create your account, choose Start a company, then invite your crew from Admin → People. Each person gets an invite link by text or email. You can also import your whole roster from a spreadsheet.
Going solo. Choose Start solo. You can join or start a company later with the same login.
Signing in
I didn't get my code. Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure the email address is spelled right. Codes expire after a while — tap Send again for a fresh one. Use the newest code if you got more than one.
I signed in and my company is gone. You probably signed in with a different email than the one you used before. Sign out (gear → Sign out) and sign in with your original email. Don't start a new company — that makes a second, empty one.
Change my email. Go to gear → Account → Change email. We'll send a code to the new address (and sometimes to your old one too, for safety).
Notifications
Go to gear → Notifications → Turn on notifications, then tap Allow. Use Send a test to check it. Each phone, tablet or computer turns this on once.
- On iPhone and iPad, notifications only work from the Home Screen icon, and need iOS 16.4 or newer.
- If you tapped Don't Allow: open the iPhone Settings → Notifications → RidgeMate and turn on Allow Notifications.
- You can choose which kinds you get: messages, announcements, Open Leads, leads given to you, changes to your jobs, and follow-up reminders.
Leads, photos and routes
Import leads. Gear → Import leads & pins, then pick a spreadsheet (CSV) or a backup file. You'll see a preview and can match the columns before anything is added.
Plan a route. On Leads, tap a status like Not Home, then Route these. Or on the Map, switch to Route and tap Plan by status. Tap Whole route in Apple Maps to drive it (iOS 18.4 or newer).
Inspection report. Open a lead, add photos under Inspection photos, then tap Report at the top to make the PDF.
Your account
Export everything. Gear → Export leads & pins (CSV), Export pins for Google Maps / Earth, or Backup (with photos).
Remove a rep. Admin → People → the rep → Remove, then Delete if you want them gone for good. Their open leads go back on the Open Leads board.
Delete my account. Gear → Account → Delete my account. If you own a company that still has people in it, delete the company first (gear → Delete this company). See the privacy policy for what's removed.
Cancel. Email us and we'll cancel your plan. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
